Tubes For PCR
Tubes for PCR, also known as PCR strip tubes, are a convenient and versatile way to store and prepare reagents and materials for PCR or other molecular biology experiments. They are made of high-quality medical-grade polypropylene and manufactured in Class 100,000 clean rooms. They are designed for precise thermal transfer and are suitable for use in real-time PCR assays. Typical applications for these tubes include PCR assays, reverse transcription, and other biochemistry experiments.
A wide variety of PCR strip tubes is available for use with different types of thermal cyclers. These tubes are manufactured from virgin polypropylene and are completely free of chemical additives, lubricants, and RNA. Their thin walls are optimized to maximize heat transfer. This ensures rapid temperature equilibration. Additionally, these strips are available in white and transparent colors.
The tubes feature a polished inner surface for sample recovery. Their low-profile design is ideal for fast PCR and fluorescence assays. Moreover, the frosted cap provides a large surface area for labeling. Furthermore, they are made of high-quality polypropylene and are certified RNase and DNase-free.
Unlike PCR tube tubes, which are often cut into small sections, PCR strip tubes are composed of eight individually capped tubes that fit together with an angular design inside a thermal cycler. They are ideally suited for real-time PCR assays, and are available in translucent or white color options. Some manufacturers offer tubes with flat caps, which are easier to seal. In addition, PCR strip tubes are available in a range of sizes and formats.
0.2 mL PCR tubes are available in a number of configurations, including an 8-strip strip, an 8-strip with attached flat caps, and a 12-strip strip. Each format is equipped with an ultra-thin wall for heat transfer and an opti-clear cap. All are designed to work with a range of thermocyclers, including the Veriti (TM) 96-Well Thermal Cycler. Alternatively, the Applied Biosystems(TM) 2720 Thermal Cycler is compatible with Applied Biosystems(TM) Tube Strips.
Flat cap PCR strip tubes are easy to seal and are suitable for use in qPCR assays. They also come with a flat top that makes it easier to fit and seal up to 8 strips at a time. Similarly, a dome-type cap is available, which is ideal for readability and prevents the reaction solution from binding to the cap's surface. Moreover, the thick linkage between the tubes is robust and ensures less spillage. Likewise, there are rigid PCR strips, which are ideal for Easy Tube Division, and snappable strips, which make it easier to transfer the tubes to and from the centrifuge.
0.1 mL PCR tubes are available in an 8-strip format and include an optically clear cap. These tubes are ideal for PCR and other types of qPCR assays. With a fill volume of 200uL, they are well-suited for post-thermal cycling reagent additions. Also, they are made from high-quality medical-grade polypropylene, are autoclave-safe, and meet the USP VI level.
Zhejiang Saining Biotechnology Co., Ltd. PCR strip tubes are certified to be free of DNA, ATP, and RNA. These tubes are designed for performance and are highly polished to minimize protein binding.
